513DJ has been blessed to have Apryl as a member of our family of DJs. She is without a doubt one of the most talented DJs in the country. Apryl began spinning events during college. Her father managed a female R&B group that was produced by Chuck D and exposed her to unique and diverse music from an early age. In addition to performing as a DJ, she produces beats and teaches turntablism to inner city youth. She spins digital music using Serato and time code vinyl on classic Technics turntables. Apryl is no average DJ.

Apryl stunned the competition at the 2010 Red Bull 3Style competition. The special event was by invitation only. Legendary DJs in and around Cincinnati brought their best game. Judges evaluated each DJ based on their mixing skill, ability to spin across multiples genres and crowd hype. She created energy unlike any other DJ, wowed the judges and won the crowd. Apryl went on to compete at Red Bull's national competition in Denver, Colorado!
